Description: We are proud to share that Mike Delia ’81 will be inducted into the National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association (NILCA) Hall of Fame this fall. Mike’s lacrosse journey began at the Long Island University Post Campus, where he was a two-time all-conference player, team captain, and MVP. His career went on to include three decades of teaching and coaching at the high school level, highlighted by seven consecutive Suffolk County titles and two New York State championships at Shoreham-Wading River. He later served as an official and rules interpreter, mentoring the next generation of athletes and coaches. His impact on the game and his players has been extraordinary.
